Alaskan Trip Journal

Date: Monday, July 21, 2003

Starting Location: Whitehorse, YT

Destination: Watson Lake, YT

Trip Description: It was a rainy and cool morning. Laura and I did not feel like getting out of bed. We checked our e-mail and were on our way. We stopped to eat breakfast at Marsh Lake. It was windy and cold (upper 40's), so we turned the furnace on in the RV and ate inside. From Marsh Lake, it was an easy ride to the town of Watson Lake. We decided to get off the road early today so we could relax. The last 2 days were tiring. We are staying at the Downtown RV park. We were here 8 days ago. The place is relatively quiet, and the showers are clean and free. This evening, we plan on cleaning the dust out of the RV and watching TV. The weather is warm and sunny now. Tomorrow, we will return to Fort Nelson, BC.
