Alaskan Trip Journal

Date: Sunday, June 29, 2003

Starting Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Destination: Huron, SD

Trip Description: Today was rather relaxing. We awoke, packed up, and dressed for church. We went to the cathedral in downtown Sioux Falls for 11:00 mass. It is a beautiful building, both inside and out. After mass, we drove west on I-90 to Mitchell. The famous corn palace is located there. We took some pictures and then headed north to Huron. We arrived at my great-aunt Elaina's house around 4:00. She served us a full meal. After super, my great-aunt Martha, and other relatives arrived (photos coming soon). We looked through old photographs of my grandmother's family and talked for awhile. We truly enjoyed this relaxing day.
